The Accreditation procedure represents an important innovation of the Erasmus+ programme.
It is a procedure offered to those entities that intend to carry out activities within the Program in a stable and continuous manner and that want to develop their business with great attention to cooperation and international exchange.
Through accreditation you can have stable access to annual funding that allows you to plan mobility activities for learning purposes in the various thematic areas covered by the Erasmus+ Programme.

For the sectors of adult education, vocational education and training and school education, accreditation is mandatory.

For the youth sector it is not mandatory although it is strongly recommended for organizations that organize international youth activities on a stable basis. Therefore, in this specific sector, even non-accredited bodies can submit requests for funding for individual projects at the national deadlines set out in the annual notice.

This is a procedure that certifies the ability of the candidate organization or body to implement adequate processes and measures to carry out high-quality learning mobility activities. Precisely for this reason, institutions that want to obtain accreditation must comply with the Erasmus Quality Standards which were drawn up by the European Commission.

The relevant documents for the are available here youth sector and for the sectors ofadult education, vocational education and training and school education.

Interested organizations and bodies can submit to own national agency long-term action plans (possibly even until the end of the Program in 2027), through which the activities to be supported are planned, as well as the benefits for participants in terms of learning and acquisition of skills.

It is not a requirement for the application to have acquired experience in the Erasmus+ Programme, but for accreditation in the youth sector, a proven experience of at least 2 years in similar activities.

Once accreditation has been received, interested entities will be able to prepare annual plans in which to include various mobility activities aimed at their specific groups of participants.

In the youth sector, by obtaining accreditation, the organization or body accesses the financing provided for under the simplified procedure three types of activities for young people and youth workers: i Youth exchanges, Youth participation activities and the activities of Mobility of youth workers and youth workers.

In the sectors of adult education, vocational education and training and school education, it is possible to request individual accreditation only for your organization or an Erasmus accreditation as coordinator of a mobility consortium. Mobility consortia are made up of at least two organizations based in the same Program Country.
