With a budget of 1,7 million euros, it was published on the page Ministry of Business and Made in Italy the public notice for the selection of project proposals by digital and media literacy, of a communicative and educational nature for the benefit of minor.
The lines of intervention are:
- prevention of the phenomenon of cyberbullying or any other form of violence, harassment, blackmail and denigration carried out on minors, through the inappropriate use of new technologies;
- support for parenting to increase knowledge regarding the use of the web and its risks;
- prevention of possible other abuses resulting from minors' exposure to the web, with particular attention to the related risks connected to emulation, online grooming, social isolation, digital manipulation and social media addiction;
- development of knowledge on digital citizenship for the conscious use of new technologies by minors and promotion of algorithmic awareness and critical sense by teens (subjects aged between 14 and 18 years of age).
The projects must be aimed at the primary target of minors aged between 8 and 18 years of age and in addition to the secondary target made up of parents, educators and teachers, operators who deal with minors.
They may include the creation of educational materials, such as guides, video tutorials, infographics, quizzes, interactive games, podcasts, audiovisual formats, usable on media and web platforms; implementation of awareness campaigns on audiovisual media, on web platforms to promote awareness of the importance of media and digital literacy; creation of courses or workshops in collaboration with libraries, juvenile centers and other organizations operating in the relevant sector.
Project proposals must be presented by a partnership between profit and non-profit entities, with a participation of non-profit organizations between 30% and 50% of the total amount of the project and include innovative technological elements and/or solutions.
