On the portal Funding & Tenders of the European Commission, a new call has been published to combat gender-based violence and violence against minors, managed by DG JUST within the Program CERV – strand DAPHNE. The overall budget for this call is 24 800 000 euro.
The priorities of the call are:
- Transnational action to combat gender violence.
- Protection and Support for victims.
- Violence Prevention.
- Child Protection Systems.
The financeable activities must deal with:
- Development of tools that help recognize and address the first signs of domestic violence and violence against minors;
- Raising awareness, including social media or print campaigns;
- Capacity building and training for professionals and stakeholders, in particular through training programs for trainers themselves, training activities of national, regional and local authorities;
- Design and implementation of strategies, protocols, development of working methods and tools, platforms and coordination groups;
- Design of services and measures that improve access to victim support services.
The call will open on 12 December 2023 and expire on 24 April 2024 (17pm Brussels time).
