Selections are open for young clowns who will be able to take advantage of the opportunity offered by 'Theatre Degart': it will be an intensive and free course with high-profile contemporary clowning masters for 10 young people under 35. At the end of the experience, they will have the opportunity to perform at the FINC Summer Festival in Giardini Naxos (Messina) – the Nouveau Clown International Festival is a Sicilian multidisciplinary cultural event, recognized by the Ministry of Culture, dedicated to contemporary circus, clowning, and silent/physical comedy.

The selection process also includes the participation of active spectators, a group of citizens passionate about clowning. Participants must prepare a comedy act lasting no more than 5–7 minutes. The act can be physical, visual, silent, or with limited use of speech, and must have a clear comic and clownish focus.

The journey will culminate in a public restitution at the event Clownpedia Live: The selected numbers will be presented on the final evening of the FINC Summer Festival on June 28, 2026, in Giardini Naxos, offering the artists an important opportunity for direct interaction with the public. In addition to free participation in the masterclass, the project includes logistical and technical support, access to the FINC Summer Festival's evening events and performances, an expense reimbursement, and the possibility of participation in future editions.
