The new call for proposals for social enterprises is now online. With the children (Fund for Combating Child Educational Poverty), which aims to promote and support joint interventions to combat child educational poverty throughout the country. The overall duration of the projects must be between 36 and 48 months. At least 50% of the resources will be allocated to multi-regional projects involving at least two areas of the country: North, Center, South, and Islands.

The initiatives will be classified into two types:

• projects or public tenders jointly promoted through participatory/sharing planning processes, by Con i bambini with one or more co-financiers acting as funding bodies;
• projects proposed directly by third sector entities and supported by one or more co-financiers (up to a maximum of 5).

The selection process involves two phases: presentation of the project idea and subsequent executive planning. The ideas will be examined in chronological order, and only those that demonstrate consistency with the Fund's objectives in terms of combating child educational poverty, in-depth knowledge of the problem, and overall consistency between objectives, planned resources, and implementation timelines will be admitted to the next phase. They must be implemented by non-profit organizations acting as the project lead, in partnerships of at least three entities, two of which must be non-profit organizations (including the lead). The other entities may also be from the non-profit sector, such as schools, institutions, universities, research organizations, and businesses.
