The 2024-2025 edition of the Mario Luzi International Award, organized by the Foundation of the same name, for published and unpublished poetry, anthologies, narrative, essays and degree theses. The prize is chaired by the President of the Senate and placed under the high patronage of the President of the Republic and other national and international institutions.

Participants may register for one or more of the sections provided, namely:

– published and unpublished poetry – 'Vola alta parola' – for poems in Italian or vernacular, on a free theme;
– nascent poetry – for an unpublished collection of poems consisting of a collection, monographic work or anthology;
– for multiple works pertaining to the various sections of the tender.

Sections are also planned for degree theses and for fiction – 'Premio Italia' and 'Italia dell'avvenire', published and unpublished, for all genres: historical novel, contemporary fiction and fiction for children.ə. Self-produced and online published texts are also included.

A total prize pool of 25 thousand euros is expected. The deadline to participate in the competition is January 31, 2025. Info and details from here
