To apply you must have the following requirements:

• be at least 18 years of age and not older than 26 years of age if competing for positions reserved for volunteers of the Armed Forces and 24 years of age if competing for positions reserved for otherə citizenə italianə.
• possess a secondary school diploma that allows enrollment in degree courses offered by state or legally recognized universities.

The selection includes a written pre-selection test; physical efficiency tests; assessment of psycho-physical suitability; assessment of attitudinal suitability; assessment of suitability for obtaining the Anti-Terrorism and Emergency Service (ATPI) specialization for candidates.ə competing for the relevant positions; evaluation of qualifications.
