THELocal Health Authority (ASL) of Verbano Cusio Ossola has announced a competition based on qualifications and exams for 20 nurses, who will sign permanent employment contracts at the end of the selection process.

In addition to the general requirements established by law to participate in public competitions, the following specific requirements are required of candidates:

• first level degree (three-year) qualifying for the healthcare profession in Nursing, or university diploma in nursing, or diplomas and certificates obtained under the previous system, recognised as equivalent for the exercise of the professional activity and access to public offices;
• enrollment in the professional register.

In addition to a possible pre-selection test, three exams are planned: a written test, a practical test – consisting of the execution of specific techniques or the preparation of documents related to the professional qualification – and an oral test. Knowledge of the use of the most common computer equipment and applications and knowledge of at least a basic level of the English language will also be assessed.
