The competition for schools Chiara Lubich, “One city is not enough”, reaches its fourth edition, continuing to offer school communities an opportunity for reflection and study in the field of the values of relationships, acceptance of diversity, sustainable growth and the development of new technologies also in the field of study.
The competition is aimed at all students of primary and secondary schools, including those who attend Italian institutions abroad, who will be able to participate with full expressive autonomy in the initiative, individually, in groups or
classes.
Objectives:
- promote environmental sensitivity and brotherhood;
- stimulate the spirit of initiative and study of lesser-known authors;
- spread knowledge of Chiara Lubich and her contributions;
- explore the concepts of interconnection and universal love according to Chiara Lubich;
- create “white news” inspired by Lubich's writings.
Themes for the papers:
- make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, durable and sustainable;
- peace, justice and solid institutions;
- narration of good practices inspired by the thought of Chiara Lubich.
Categories allowed:
- Category A: written work (short essay, journalistic article, poem, etc. – characters: max
4.000 characters); - Category B: graphic, plastic or multimedia work (lasting a maximum of 5 (five) minutes).
There are six prizes to be assigned respectively to the three school levels: Secondary School ( 1st prize: €800); Lower Secondary School (1st prize: €400); Primary School (1st prize: €400).
