In the framework of Erasmus+ accreditation and in line with the annual programme of the IGNet network aimed at strengthening the civil society organisations sector and improving young people's skills in managing international activities and multicultural groups, InformaGiovani organizes by 23 29 to April in Filaga, Palermo, a training course for leaders entitled “Building skills for managing multicultural teams”.
This course is aimed at young leaders involved in intercultural activities, such as youth exchanges, international group volunteering, and thematic workshops, involving other young people and using non-formal education.
It aims to develop skills in managing group dynamics, conflict prevention and resolution, intercultural learning, and ensuring participant safety and inclusion during projects.
Educational objectives:
• Strengthen organizational, implementation and self-confidence skills.
• Manage group dynamics, unexpected events, conflicts, teamwork and time management.
• Become familiar with the role of leader in volunteer projects.
• Reflect on the meaning of safe and inclusive spaces and how to create and maintain them.
• Share the educational objectives of international volunteering projects.
