There is time until July 22, 2026 to participate in the residency project 'New Grand Tour' thought by Ministry of Culture (MiC), Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity, which will take place in France. The initiative is dedicated to promoting Italian art and creativity abroad, with a total budget of €200 and is part of the international creative mobility program promoted by the Ministry and the French Embassy in Italy, in collaboration with Italian and French cultural institutions.
45 residency awards will be given to a maximum of 55 young Italian artists and creatives who will be able to enrich their artistic research by leveraging dialogue and interaction in international cultural contexts. The program includes visual arts, performing arts related to the visual arts, and creative sectors such as fashion, design, architecture and landscape, gastronomy, and crafts. To participate, you must be under 30; have Italian citizenship or residency in Italy; have a degree such as a Bachelor's Degree or AFAM Diploma; and have good knowledge of French and/or English.
The residency award includes a monthly stipend of one thousand euros, proportional to the duration of the residency—which will be determined during the selection process—and a grant of five hundred euros per project to cover research and development expenses related to artistic practice. Round-trip travel expenses to France will be covered up to four hundred euros.
