As part of the 19th edition of the National Arts Award promoted by Ministry of University and Research – General Directorate of Higher Education and the Right to Education – theNational Academy of Dance promotes the National Arts Award, XIX edition for the 'Performing Arts' section – subsections “Classical dance, Contemporary dance, ChoreographyThe competition will take place at the Jia Ruskaja Theatre of the National Academy of Dance, Largo Arrigo VII, 5 – Rome.
The event is divided into three sections: Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance and Choreography and is open to students of the National Dance Academy and to students regularly enrolled in academic courses accredited by the MUR, without age or nationality limits, in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Candidates in all sections are required to send videos, in particular:
- for the Classical Dance and Contemporary Dance sections the pieces must be performed by the candidates themselves;
- For the Choreography section, the interpretation will be carried out by the candidate, or by a single group of dancers of their choice (no more than four dancers).
The videos, without interruptions and without the use of effects or editing, must reproduce the performance of the pieces or choreography in a full shot without close-ups. The completed registration form can be sent to the protocol office of the National Dance Academy by October 10, 2025 via certified email to the address: [email protected].
