Until March 7 2024, the program Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values ​​(CERV) offers a financing opportunity of just over 74 million euros for civil society organizations (CSOs) active in promoting the values ​​of the European Union, who want to act as intermediaries between the Commission and smaller organisations.

The main objective is to support non-profit CSOs of EU States in the implementation and dissemination of fundamental rights and European values ​​at local, regional and national levels to foster dialogue, transparency and good governance, especially in contexts where space for civil society is limited.

The proposed projects, which must have a duration of between 36 and 48 months, must include direct financial support to CSOs from intermediaries and capacity building activities for CSOs.

Projects can be submitted by a single entity or by a consortium. In both cases, to participate it is necessary to demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in the implementation of capacity building activities for CSOs and proven experience in the assignment and management of grants to the latter.

The requested grant it cannot be less than €2.500.000 and more than €6.000.000. The contribution may cover up to 90% of the eligible costs of the project.
