I'm Yaccoub and this summer I left Palermo for my first volunteering experience abroad with Erasmus+.
I was energized, motivated but I always had that fear of the novelty I was about to encounter. Upon my arrival I was greeted by my mentor Antoine. He has always been available for anything, JAVVA has been a fundamental point of reference for all the volunteers.
I met boys and girls who came from all over the world to volunteer at the Arthur Rèniere center where people who have lost their motor skills live.
The first day was difficult for me because it was the first time I came into contact with these people, but then I learned to know them day after day, what I call humanity, respect, willpower, smile, for me it was a life lesson, it was one of the experiences that I recommend to everyone, I would do it again even a hundred thousand times. I learned what is called willpower.
