Teach For Italy has opened the selections for its 2023 Fellowship program.
The Teach For Italy Fellowship is a path of two years: through personal and professional training and support they develop the skills of future agents of change in the Italian educational ecosystem. For two years you will teach, on call from the schools via GPS (Provincial Rankings for Substitutes) or MAD (Messa A Disposito) in contexts where educational inequalities are greater.
A unique experience that allows you to give your contribution to the most fragile and marginalized realities while aiming at your personal and professional growth.

What the Fellowship program consists of:

  • Training Summer School: six weeks of training and teaching practice in contexts of educational poverty with national and international professionals.
  • Year One: Ongoing training focused on becoming a transformative teacher through monthly meetings with an instructional coach, subject area expert mentors, group trainings and so much more!
  • Summer Internship with a Teach For All partner in Italy or abroad
  • Second Year: ongoing training with a focus on the future career path, training path to develop and implement a school impact project, orientation for future career paths, mentoring and participation in "The Future Makers" of the Boston Consulting Group.

In order to participate, you must meet the following specific requirements:

  • Master's degree in any discipline, or master's degree students who will obtain their degree by June 2023;
  • Teachers enrolled in GPS or tenured;
  • Be willing to move to any Italian province for two years, if you are not already registered in the GPS rankings and if you are not tenured;
  • Good command of the English language.
