There is time until March 31, 2026 to participate in the tender Proud Potest 2026, a cash award for the best projects submitted by Third Sector Organizations (TSOs) operating in the penitentiary volunteering sector throughout the country.
The initiative is promoted by Noi e Voi social cooperative, from the Banco di Napoli Foundation and UniCredit. It was born from the experience gained over the years by the Fieri Potest Pastry Lab within the Carmelo Magli Prison in Taranto, a model of professional training and social inclusion that has transformed a local project into a national platform for social innovation.
Projects must promote initiatives to support prisoners and their families, adopting a multidimensional and systemic approach, fostering welcoming and inclusive support networks and restorative pathways. Innovative and structured interventions will be promoted that promote the social and occupational reintegration of prisoners; strengthen training and empowerment programs; and build inclusive local networks, in collaboration with penitentiary institutions, the Office for External Penal Enforcement (UEPE), and chaplaincies. Applications must clearly highlight volunteerism, and must have a clear planning and spending plan.
A total financial contribution of up to €10.000 will be provided per project. Additional funding will be available through a crowdfunding campaign on the IlMioDono platform for the most innovative proposals, capable of generating measurable social impact and tangible benefits for local communities, based on three rankings, divided by geographical area.
