InformaGiovani ETS (IG), founded in 2001 in Palermo by a group of volunteers, was created to provide local youth with information tools and opportunities for participation and growth, in a context marked by significant social marginalization. The association is independent of political or religious affiliations and is inspired by the constitutional values ​​of democracy, solidarity, anti-fascism, and human rights.

Its main objectives are: promoting civil and human rights, with particular attention to the right to information; encouraging the active participation of young people; and supporting social inclusion and social justice.

IG operates in three main areas:

• Volunteering and youth participation, local and international;
• Non-formal training and education, aimed at young people and educators;
• Information and dialogue with information professionals
