Erasmus +

The Erasmus+ Program is managed by European Commission, DG Education and Culture, in cooperation with the Member States, with the assistance of theEACEA, Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency National agencies of the different Participating countries.

Erasmus+ is the European Union's program in the fields ofEducation, Training, Youth and Sport, for the period 2021-2027. Erasmus+ supports the priorities and activities set by the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda.

The specific objectives of the program include:

  • Promote the mobility of individuals and groups for learning purposes and collaboration, quality, inclusion and equity, excellence, creativity and innovation at the level of organizations and policies in education and of training;
  • Promote mobility for non-formal and informal learning purposes, active participation of young people, collaboration, quality, inclusion, creativity and innovation at the level of youth organizations and policies;
  • Promote learning mobility of sports staff and collaboration, quality, inclusion, creativity and innovation at the level of sports organizations and policies.

The EU works together with National Agencies to bring the Erasmus+ program as close as possible to citizens. The National Agencies are based in the EU Member States and in the Third Countries associated to the Programme, their role consists in:

  • provide information about Erasmus+;
  • select the projects to be financed;
  • monitor and evaluate Erasmus+;
  • support candidates and participants;
  • collaborate with other National Agencies and with the EU;
  • promote Erasmus+;
  • share success stories and good practices.

SALTO-YOUTH is a network of seven Resource Centers working on European priority areas in the youth field.
As part of the European Commission's Training Strategy, SALTO-YOUTH provides non-formal learning resources for youth workers and youth workers and organizes training and outreach activities to support organizations and National Agencies (NAs) under the programme. Erasmus+ Youth from the European Commission, the European Solidarity Corps and beyond.

SALTO-YOUTH stands for Support, Advanced Learning and Advanced Training Opportunities for Youth. It operates within the Erasmus+ Youth programs and the European Solidarity Corps programmes.

OTLAS is a database created by the network JUMP-YOUTH under the Youth in Action program and the Erasmus+ programme. The purpose of this platform is to support and facilitate the search for partners for international projects.

Otlas is not an acronym. It represents an “Online Atlas for the youth sector”.

In order to start using this useful tool it is necessary to have a MySalto account, by registering on the SALTO portal. By subscribing to this platform, you can manage your OTLAS profile by preventing anyone from changing your details, enjoy all the services offered by SALTO, and connect more easily with other organizations that have a SALTO account and OTLAS profile.
