“Safety Awareness in the Digital Era” It was a project funded by the European Union under Key Action 2 “Cooperation partnerships in youth” of the Erasmus+ programme.
The aim was to create tools with which youth organisations and their workers can better work with young people, in order to improve their digital skills, with a particular focus on safety, well-being, privacy and environmental protection.
In recent years, the spread of digitalization has had a positive impact on various aspects of life, including education, work, social interactions and civic engagement. However, this transformation has also given rise to new social challenges arising from the often careless and sometimes irresponsible use of digital technologies and cyberspace.
The project, carried out by five organizations from different European countries (Italy, Spain, Latvia, Poland and Hungary), lasted 24 months between 2022 and 2024.
To address the project's themes, video courses have been created in Italian and English (both available in the our online training platform) and “Escape games”, one digital and one analogue, which combine elements of gamification with those of storytelling.
