With a budget of 15 million euros, the call Futura+ dedicated to women (18-67 years) and promoted by Fund for the Digital Republic It is aimed at public entities, private non-profit organizations, and third sector entities, also in partnership with for-profit entities.

The goal is to select effective and innovative training projects to enhance the digital skills of women, both employed and unemployed, and ensure better opportunities and conditions for entering the workforce. Although over 60% of graduates in 2023 are women, employment data shows a consistent gender gap favoring men. In fact, just over one in two women is employed (approximately 53%). Furthermore, 7,8 million women are inactive, accounting for 63,5% of all inactive people between the ages of 15 and 64. Furthermore, beyond the employment issue, according to ISTAT data for the first quarter of 2025, there is a clear wage gap for women compared to men: female graduates earn 40% less for the same level of education, while the gap is 19% among those with a middle school diploma and rises to 20,5% among those with a high school diploma.
