It reaches its eighth edition Youth4Regions, the program promoted by the Regional and Urban Policy DG of the European Commission aimed at aspiring journalists and young journalists in the context of the regional policies of the European Union. At the end of the selective phase you will be able to attend a training course on journalism and European regional politics, working alongside professional journalists and taking advantage of the opportunity of the study stay in Brussels. To apply you will need to produce work that falls into areas such as general journalism - a short article (2500 - 6250 characters); photojournalism – a photographic reportage (three images); video journalism – a short video report (2 – 3 minutes). 37 places are available.
To participate you need the following requirements:
- be between 18 and 30 years old;
- be citizens of an EU state or a neighboring country:
- have up to a maximum of two years of work experience as a journalist;
- be in possession of a degree in journalism obtained within a maximum of two years or be a journalism student;
- demonstration of a real interest in journalism through studies and/or work experience.
