The European project Give Climate a ChanCe, hosted at the Casa da Juventude in Amarante, Portugal, with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme, brought together participants from across Europe to test and refine new game-based learning tools. The initiative is coordinated by InformaGiovani together with partner organisations Share Europe (Bulgaria), Equação (Portugal), Radi Vidi Pats (Latvia) and Ambitia (Slovenia).

The project's goal is to put climate action at the center, transforming complex environmental issues into engaging challenges and interactive learning paths. Through fun activities and the exploration of local sustainable initiatives in the Amarante area, young people reflected on their daily habits and learned how to reduce their ecological footprint.

Thanks to the support of Erasmus+, Give Climate a ChanCe demonstrates how non-formal education and gamification can become effective tools to promote civic participation and engagement among citizens, especially younger generations, in the fight against the climate crisis.
