The European Youth Forum is the largest European platform of youth organizations and national Youth Councils and has over 100 members.

The European Youth Forum works to give young people the opportunity to actively participate in society to improve their lives and defend their rights. The Youth Forum promotes the participation of young people, making them catalysts for positive change and creators of innovative solutions to Europe's challenges.

To overcome the challenges facing young people, the work of the European Youth Forum focuses on four work areas: Democracy, Youth Organisations, Ecological Crises and Systemic Change and Social and Economic Inclusion.

The objectives of the European Youth Forum are:

  • give a voice to young people in Europe, representing National Youth Councils and International Non-Governmental Youth Organizations across Europe;
  • promote and defend the rights and interests of young people in Europe and increase the participation of young people and youth organizations in society;
  • support, coordinate and promote the work of our members and provide help and assistance where necessary;
  • promote youth policies as an integrated and intersectoral element of general political development;
  • promote the exchange of ideas and experiences, mutual understanding and equal rights and opportunities among young people in Europe;
  • positively influence debate and political decisions, especially those that directly concern young people and youth organisations.
