The Volunteer Service Center of Padua and Rovigo establishes the eighteenth edition of the "Gattamelata Award” to promote the culture and practice of volunteering and solidarity at a national level.

The prize consists of a limited or unique edition work created thanks to the collaboration of local artists, to offer new representations of the symbol of Padua, Donatello's "Gattamelata".

Recipients and applications:

  • People, associations, businesses and institutions from all over Italy involved in volunteering and promoting active citizenship can apply;
  • The names of the candidates for the Award can be proposed by: a) Associations and voluntary groups; b) Citizens; c) Companies, public or private bodies.

They will be rewarded 5 categories of individuals who have distinguished themselves, during 2023, in activities of social commitment, solidarity and/or promotion of the values ​​of active and responsible citizenship:

  1. Volunteer
  2. Association
  3. Feminine
  4. Institution
  5. Campaign of comunication

Applications must be sent via e-mail to the Volunteer Service Center of Padua and Rovigo at the address gattamelata@csvpadovarovigo.org  no later than Wednesday 20 March 2024.
