A video to trigger change in the EU. The ImagineEu competition, promoted by the European Commission, asks questions and asks for answers: how could the EU be an even better place to live? The initiative is aimed at students in the last two years of secondary school who will be able to propose their idea of ​​change by making a short video.

Assisted by a teacher, the teams will be made up of a maximum of seven boys and girls and will be able to join the 'European Citizens Initiative' program which offers the opportunity, among other things, to European citizens to propose new laws. The ImagineEU competition offers students the opportunity to work in teams and participate in the democratic life of the EU.

In this regard, the toolkit of educational tools 'EU democracy in action: have your say with the European Citizens Initiative' is available – a tool that provides tips on how to make an effective video.

A trip to Brussels is up for grabs: the three winning teams will be able to count on a study trip to Brussels from 21 to 23 March 2024. They will be able to meet representatives of the European institutions and discover how policies and laws are developed.
