There is time until June 14, 2026 to join the project Artificial imagination – created by Gummy Industries -, a video installation on view during Prompt, a festival that explores the worlds of AI, engaging with other languages and artisanal expressions. The festival will feature AI conferences, hands-on workshops, and evening concerts/performances.
Artists, directors, and digital creators will be able to present audiovisual works that generate thought and reflection on how artificial intelligence is transforming the development of images, ideas, and narratives, particularly on topics such as:
- Algorithmic culture: platforms, internet aesthetics, algorithms and meme culture.
- AI Language: The terminology and narratives used to describe artificial intelligence.
- Data/Systems/Power: Datasets, infrastructure, and political or economic dimensions of AI.
- Speculative Futures: Futures imagined and shaped by artificial intelligence.
The project welcomes video works based on experimentation, visual research, or poetic reflection that utilize AI tools in the creative process and critically reflect on AI systems. Experimental films, short visual essays, generative or AI-assisted videos, hybrid moving image projects, and shitposting may be submitted, but must be in video format with a recommended length of between 30 seconds and 5 minutes.
The event/video installation, with the selection of the best works judged to be on display continuously outdoors, will be held in June 2026 in Brescia (ITA), at the old Falcone d'Italia Castle. Click here to read the announcement
