The Esc Team Volunteering in Caltanissetta for the HeSo project has recently concludedESC funded by the European Union

During these two weeks, a wonderful group of volunteers explored a variety of topics that led to knowledge about olive oil production from harvest to bottle, immigration policies and refugee rights in Italy, land and real estate confiscated from the mafia, working within a social garden and, of course, a lot of teamwork.

We lived, worked, traveled, played, studied, shared, cooked—together. And after the project, we'll take away not only the things we learned, but also the many new people who played an important role in our lives. Thank you for this opportunity.
