New Life 2021-2027 calls for proposals will be online soon., a programme for the environment and climate action with a total budget of €5,432 billion. An instrument through which theXNUMX-XNUMX business days aims to contribute to the transition to a sustainable, circular, energy-efficient, renewable-based economy that is climate-neutral and resilient to climate change.
The new calls for proposals for the programme, scheduled to open on 21 April, will be presented in detail during the EU LIFE Info Days 2026, organized by European Commission from 28 to 30 April 2026 in virtual mode.
The Programme's measures will concern sectors such as:
- Nature and Biodiversity: Protecting nature, halting biodiversity loss, and supporting the Natura 2000 network.
- Circular Economy and Quality of Life: Facilitating the transition to a circular and sustainable economy, improving the quality of air, water, and soil.
- Climate action, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing climate resilience.
- Transition to clean energy, energy efficiency, renewable sources.
The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) information sessions will guide participants through the analysis of the new funding lines and priority themes for 2026, providing practical guidance on how to submit an effective application. Participants include public bodies, private organizations and businesses, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), universities, and research institutes.
