The Ministry of Education and Merit, in collaboration with the Italian Naval League, launched the competition “Italy and the sea”.

Competition is aimed at pupils of primary and secondary schools, both state and private, with the aim of elaborate on the role of the sea in the history of our country in all its nuances, from aspects linked to the economy of the sea understood as a resource that generates wealth, employment and innovation (shipbuilding, fishing, recreational and accommodation activities, catering), to historical, cultural and social links.

Are provided 3 tracks to choose from and develop with full freedom of expression choosing one of 3 categories (processed in the form of text, photography or multimedia work). Only individual participation is expected. Those who are winners in the various categories will be offered the opportunity to participate in a sailing course.
