The competition has been announced Ministry of Justice for exams for coverage of  350 ordinary magistrates' positionsTo participate, you must have Italian citizenship and meet other requirements, such as falling into one of the following categories:

• administrative and accounting magistrates;
• state attorneys;
• state employees;
• belonging to university staff teaching legal subjects in possession of a law degree;
• employees, with managerial qualifications or belonging to the former management area, of the public administration, of national public bodies and of local bodies,
• qualified to practice law even if not registered in the register of lawyers and, if registered in the register of lawyers, who have not incurred disciplinary sanctions;
• who has held the office of honorary magistrate for at least six years
• graduates in possession of a law degree obtained at the end of a university course lasting no less than four years, provided that it is not a second degree.
