#EUinMyRegion Media Trips is a training program aimed at local and regional journalists and content creators from the European Union. Those who complete the program will gain a deeper understanding of EU policies, particularly cohesion policy, and will have the opportunity to connect with fellow journalists from other EU countries and regions.

The program includes online training (2 hours) the day before the start of the study trip. The two-day study trip to Brussels will include sessions on EU institutions, structure and procedures; on EU cohesion policy; on how the EU handles fraud and mismanagement of funds; meetings with national experts from the Commission; data tools for journalists and visits to projects or other EU institutions.

Around 40 people from all EU Member States will participate in each study trip.

The European Commission will cover the travel and accommodation costs of the program participants. The program will be conducted exclusively in English and no interpretation will be provided.
