Myllenium Award, cash prizes and support for young and brilliant ideas

The new edition of the Millennium Award, the prestigious award promoted by the Barletta Group and the Foundation of the same name, which celebrates the commitment and creativity of young Italians under 30. Merit and giveback are the values ​​of the project, dedicated to young people with talent in art, film, music, business, journalism, or sports, or who are seeking resources to pursue a master's degree or an internship.

Applications are open until May 5, 2026 and can be submitted on the award's official website. The Millennium Award has already supported hundreds of Italian talents, awarding €1,8 million in recognition, cash prizes (for each category), and training and professional opportunities. A committee of experts, composed of academics, journalists, artists, and entrepreneurs, will evaluate the submitted projects, ensuring an inclusive approach that is attentive to the country's social and cultural reality.

The award is divided into ten sections, each dedicated to a specific area. These include:

  • MyBOOK recognizes the best writing by young researchers, professionals, scholars, and graduates. The prize is divided into: Nonfiction, Graphic Novels, and Sports Fiction.
  • MyREPORTAGE is aimed at journalists, content and digital creators or aspiring ones who want to test their talent in the following categories: Journalism, Podcast, Social Edutainment.
  • The MySTARTUP section is a competition for startups with high technological and innovative content, established no more than two years ago.
  • MySOCIALIMPACT rewards the best Social Entrepreneurship project and is aimed at business projects and/or companies established no more than two years ago whose business model presents solutions with a high social impact on the community.
  • The MyFRAME section awards the best original 10-minute short film made by young filmmakers on a free theme.
  • MyMUSIC is dedicated to musicians and is divided into two categories: Music and Classical Music.
  • MySPORT, in collaboration with the CONI National Athletes Commission, aims to promote national-level athletes on dual career topics in three different areas: Entrepreneurship, Sports Storytelling, and Training.
  • MyCITY is dedicated to art and urban regeneration.
  • MyBRICKS, an honorary section created in collaboration with the Mastri 4.0 school of Impre.Do Academy, promotes the development and growth of excellence in the Italian construction workforce and social inclusion. The shared goal is to facilitate entry into the job market through specialized training.

The Myllennium Award thus confirms itself as a unique opportunity for young Italians to transform their passions into concrete projects, with the support of institutions, companies and leading cultural entities.
