CLEAN, an independent and civic-inspired association, launches together with its members Partner Italian and international (click here to find out about the organizations participating in the initiative) the second edition of the “Heroes project, not just for one day”. It is a training and support program funded by a call from the United States Diplomatic Mission in Italy. The goal is to connect formal and informal groups engaged in planning social inclusion projects aimed at young people under 35 at risk of social exclusion. Skills will be made available, professional and economic support.
In particular, they can apply:
- associations;
- social promotion associations;
- amateur sports associations;
- voluntary organisations;
- cooperatives;
- committees;
- collectives.
The activities must involve a target of young people under 35 belonging to marginalized communities or at risk of marginalization for reasons of gender identity, sexual orientation, origins and cultures of origin, religion and visible and non-visible disabilities.
The path includes training activities, divided into modules (community organizing, campaigning, impact analysis, facilitation) provided in partnership with AICCON, ActionAid Italia, Community Organizing Italia and SocioLab; formal and informal networking and visibility opportunities; one-to-one mentoring activities. The deadline to participate is the 20 March 2024.
