Online the tender from the Ministry of Justice for 400 notary positions. To apply, in addition to the general requirements prescribed by law to participate in public competitions, the following are required:
- degree in law or specialist or master's degree in law given or confirmed by an Italian university or a recognized equivalent qualification;
- have obtained registration among practitioners at a Notary Council and have practiced for 18 months, of which for at least one year continuously after graduation.
- the candidates have not been declared unsuitable in 5 previous competitions for exams for notary positions.
The written exam includes three theoretical-practical tests, concerning a final will and two inter vivos deeds, one of which is commercial law. In each theme, the compilation of the deed and the implementation of the principles relating to the legal institutions relating to the deed itself are required. The oral exam includes three distinct tests on the following groups of subjects: civil law, commercial law and voluntary jurisdiction, with particular attention to the legal institutions in relation to which the office of notary is carried out; provisions on the organization of the notary profession and notarial archives; provisions concerning business taxes.
