The Argentario Art Day Association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Monte Argentario and the Tuscany Region, promotes the Pop Corn Festival del Corto 2026, a short film competition open to national and international video-makers of all ages.
The works must be inspired by the theme indicated for this year's edition: 'Light and Shadow: Projections of the Soul' and must have a maximum duration of 20 minutes (including opening and closing credits) in any video format. They must be accompanied by a list of dialogues in English and/or Italian if in a foreign language and complete with: director photo, scene photo, poster of the short film, synopsis, director biography, trailer – the information will also be used to create the Festival catalogue and for promotion on social media.
The following cash prizes are available, up to €4 per category:
- Best short film in the “Italian Shorts” category;
- Best short film in the “International Shorts” category;
- Best short film in the “Animated Shorts” category;
- Pop Corn Festival Trophy;
- Raffaella Carrà Award;
- Panalight Award;
- Inlusion Creative Hub Awards;
- Mujeres del Cinema Award – for a short film by a female author or for a story focusing on a theme related to the female universe;
- Audience Awards Pop Corn Festival Trophy for the best short film chosen by a popular jury;
- Special Mention Moscerine Film Festival;
- Special Mention Vision 2030.
