The sixth edition of the Alessandro Pansa Award – organized by the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation, in agreement with the Family of Professor Alessandro Pansa, in collaboration with the LUISS Guido Carli University and the School of Politics – an initiative designed to remember the former member of the Scientific Committee of the Foundation, who passed away in 2017. Applications are open for the assignment of two scholarships, aimed at young researchers in the field of economic disciplines and sociology of work.

The aim of the initiative is to promote research and allow young people who carry out research activities in Italy or abroad to continue their studies by studying the themes at the centre of Alessandro Pansa's scientific interests.

The research work will be carried out at the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation with the delivery of two progress reports of the project every four months and a final report in October 2025. The organization of at least two multi-stakeholder research workshops is planned, as well as participation in coordination and comparison actions to promote the best possible integration with the managers and collaborators of the historical and political research areas. The research path will also address the development of the editorial production and dissemination activities of the Foundation.

PhD students, PhDs, and research fellows who have obtained a specialist, master's or Old Order degree in economic, social and related disciplines by the application deadline may apply. Excellent knowledge of English and good computer skills are also required.

Applications must be submitted by Friday November 22 2024. To consult the announcement and find out more click here.
