A full immersion in European Parliament to know the mechanisms, the areas of intervention, to create interactions with the protagonists of European politics. It is called the European Parliament Ambassador School Program (EPAS) and promotes conscious citizenship: the aim is to bring students closer to Europe and its institutions.
The project is aimed at European secondary schools and provides an annual training course for 20 male and female students as junior ambassadors and 2 senior ambassadors (professors).
At the end of the training phase, the knowledge acquired will be disseminated and transmitted through various types of activities, such as info points, media and social activities, school assemblies, role plays, debates, interviews, shows, European themed evenings organized by the schools.
During the Europe Day, developed by the same ambassadors in the school to spread what they have learned during the year, the European Parliament Ambassador School plaque will be awarded and the junior and senior Ambassador diplomas will be awarded of the European Parliament.
