Spend a different summer, work with InformaGiovani!
International volunteer projects offer young people from around the world an opportunity for social engagement and intercultural learning. Every year, many young people embark on a journey to join initiatives that support social activities organized in communities that welcome diverse cultures. This is how international volunteer projects are born, offering young participants educational opportunities in a fun, intercultural environment. Each project is led by a trained coordinator. InformaGiovani, which facilitates the dynamics between volunteers and the host organization, ensuring a positive and educational experience for everyone.
Even though it is a paid job, the coordinator participates in the activities together with all the volunteers, also taking care of:
- Manage organizational and logistical aspects during the activity in collaboration with the host organization;
- Be the contact person for InformaGiovani during the activity and coordinate the group of volunteers;
- Resolve situations and unexpected events, facilitate relationships and dynamics both within the group and with local representatives and the host community;
- Organize volunteer activities, manage daily tasks (work, cooking, cleaning) and the group's free time;
- Support the organization of in-depth discussions on global issues (environmental, gender, human rights, citizenship rights, etc.).
