There is time until March 6, 2025 to register for the seminar Greeneer Erasmus+.
The initiative focuses on climate change and environmental challenges and is promoted by theItalian Youth Agency (AIG). The event will be held from 7 to 11 April a Rispescia (GR): is part of the commitments undertaken by the European Union to address issues such as ecological transition, reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainability. In this perspective, Erasmus+|YOUTH plays a crucial role by offering young people, educators and organisations the tools to develop projects with a reduced ecological footprint and a positive impact on communities.
The seminar is aimed at socio-educational animators (youth workers) representing organizations with experience or specific interest in the sector and in the design of Community Programs managed by AIG or those who already work with young people and feel the need to consolidate their skills in sustainability education. Greener Erasmus+ aims to support youth workers and organisations in integrating sustainability into their Erasmus+ projects, both in terms of the ability to reduce the environmental impact of the projects implemented and in terms of the ability to carry out learning activities that improve young people's knowledge of the topic.
More specifically, among others, the seminar aims to strengthen the capacities of organizations in applying sustainable practices in Erasmus+ projects, in line with the European priorities on sustainability and the Green Deal through the exchange of good practices, and to promote greater awareness of environmental challenges and the role of non-formal education in fostering responsible behavior among young people.
The Italian Youth Agency will cover, for the selected participants, 90% of the travel costs for a maximum of 200 euros. Hospitality costs will be fully covered.
