They are 19 volunteers which will be selected with the VFP4 Athlete Competition  for access to the Army Sports Center. In particular, athletes are required for: trampoline, fencing, judo, athletics, clay pigeon shooting, diving, swimming, beach volleyball, wakeboarding, motorcycling, biathlon, horse riding and other disciplines.

To apply, you just need to have a middle school diploma; you must be at least 17 years old and not have turned 35. You must also:

• have achieved competitive results in the chosen discipline/specialty at least at a national level certified by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) or by the indicated national sports federations or, for sports disciplines not federated or affiliated with CONI, by the Military Sports Committee;
• have psycho-physical and attitudinal suitability for employment in the Armed Forces as a volunteer/permanent service member;
• have a negative result in diagnostic tests for alcohol abuse and for the use, even occasional, of narcotic substances as well as for the use of psychotropic substances for non-therapeutic purposes.

For the purposes of selection, psychological and physical assessments and aptitude tests will also be carried out.
