The Internship Program ofWorld Intellectual Property Organization provides paid internships open to male and female students and graduates in the Geneva office. An interesting opportunity that aims to complete the training of undergraduates and graduates with field experience at the Organization's offices and in a lively international context.

To apply, in detail you must:

  • be enrolled in a first level or advanced university course or have obtained a degree in the last 2 years (students must be enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year or in a course that includes an internship as one of the requirements for the degree);
  • have good computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • have an excellent knowledge of the English language and, if possible, also know one of the working languages ​​of WIPO such as Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

The operational scope of the internships includes intellectual property law, economics and statistics, information technology copyright, patent and trademark examinations and much more. There are 2 types of internships of different duration (from 2 to 6 months or from 2 to 12 months) in relation to the phase of the study path being undertaken, in particular for those who have or are about to obtain a three-year degree or specialist.
