Teach For Italy has opened the selections for its 2023 Fellowship program.
The Teach For Italy Fellowship is a path of two years: through personal and professional training and support they develop the skills of future agents of change in the Italian educational ecosystem. For two years the participants will teach, upon request from the schools via GPS (Provincial Rankings for Substitutes) or MAD (Making Available) in contexts where educational inequalities are greater.
To participate you must meet the following specific requirements:
- Master's degree in any discipline, or master's students who will obtain their degree by June 2024;
- Teachers enrolled in GPS or tenured;
- Be willing to move to any Italian province for two years, if you are not already registered in the GPS rankings and if you are not tenured;
- Good command of the English language.
The program is completely Loano train station. The association covers all logistical costs related to participation (travel to teach in a school, to participate in specific in-person training or other opportunities). During the months of teaching, the participants in the program are regularly paid as substitutes in the Italian school.
