Enhancement of historical, artistic and cultural assets: with a budget of four million euros, the CON IL SUD Foundation The initiative invites proposals for exemplary projects in the regions of Southern Italy (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily). The initiative is aimed at third-sector organizations with the goal of returning to communities public real estate with significant historical, artistic, and cultural value that is currently unused or underutilized, and transforming it into a place where culture becomes a tool for development, cohesion, and social inclusion.

Proposals must ensure, while fully respecting the historical significance and artistic value of the assets, a new reading and interpretation of the sites through the active involvement of the entire community. The call for proposals is divided into two distinct phases:

• Selection of proposals, based on an examination of their consistency with the general objectives and areas of intervention, with a timely identification of the expected results and a clear definition of the objectives and activities.
• Executive design: The parties responsible for the selected proposals will be called upon to define the executive design.

Projects must be submitted by the responsible entity, a third-sector organization with ownership of the public cultural property being developed for a minimum of 10 years, by at least three other organizations, two or more of which must be third-sector organizations, and by the municipality in whose territory the identified public property is located.
