With a budget of three million euros, the CON IL SUD Foundation, together with the Council of Banking Foundations in the South and Islands, launches the 2024 edition of Call for volunteering, which aims to involve the third sector organizations in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily who have never yet received a contribution as a leader. The associative organizations will have the opportunity to develop socially useful proposals with significant and beneficial repercussions on local communities through the mobilization of citizens, especially boys and girls.

The project involves experimental volunteering interventions with strategies based on the valorization of the principles of volunteering (promotion of hospitality, closeness, solidarity, development of relational networks, civic purposes) of a multidimensional nature. The function of participation spaces is central, to increase the sense of community and the active protagonism of young people.

To participate you must:

• be an ODV or APS in possession of the requirements set out in the Third Sector Code;
• be established before 1 January 2022, in the form of a public deed or an authenticated or registered private agreement;
•  have its registered office and/or operational headquarters in the region(s) of Southern Italy (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily) subject to intervention;
• never having received a contribution from the Foundation as a responsible party;
• carry out activities consistent with the Foundation's mission.
