L'European Southern Hemisphere Observatory (European Organization for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere, Eso), offers internships for students enrolled in a doctoral program in astronomy or related scientific fields, including observational, theoretical, and fundamental astrophysics.

Lo Studentship Programme It will be held in Garching, Germany, in an international context of high technological and scientific caliber. Participants will work on their Studentship project under the formal supervision of their university supervisor and will be co-supervised by an ESO staff astronomer, or by a team composed of at least one ESO astronomer.

To apply, you must submit a CV, including a list of publications, if applicable; a summary of your thesis project and/or other ongoing projects; a brief description of your overall doctoral research plan, including your provisional title, supervisor at your home institution, and start/end dates; and an outline of your proposed Studentship project, including a clear timeline with the start, end, and potential milestones of the ESO Studentship.
