Il European External Action Service  , European Commission promote the JDP Program – Junior Professionals in Delegations, with the aim of selecting graduates for highly qualified internships at European Union delegations around the world.

The selected candidates must be in possession of a Master's degree/specialist degree or university master's degree. The internship will be an opportunity for a unique professional experience, allowing you to acquire skills in the field of delegations dealing with EU foreign affairs and policy and development cooperation.

To submit the application it is also necessary:

  • be citizens of an EU Member State;
  • have an excellent command of English and/or French; knowledge of other languages ​​is an advantage;
  • have, by the closing date for applications, no more than 1 year of professional experience in the EEAS, the Commission or another EU institution or body;
  • show a strong interest and motivation to work in an EU Delegation;
  • professional experience, extracurricular activities such as volunteering or publications, are an advantage.

Both the EEAS and the European Commission fund one position per EU Member State. The expected salary is 2500 euros per month, plus a housing allowance of approximately 1700 euros. The deadline for applications is 30 April 2025. Click here to consult the web page with all the information.
