THEEuropean Union Agency for Network and Information Security is selecting recent graduates and continuing education professionals for paid internships. Internships will take place in Athens and/or Brussels for a duration of 6 months. The Agency has several operational sectors in which interns can carry out work, specifically:
- Corporate Support Services Unit (CSS): HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Security, Facilities and Events Management. Bachelor's degree required, one of the following: Psychology, Social Sciences, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, or Statistics.
- Executive Director's Office (EDO): Strategic planning, resource management, institutional relations, communications, events. A degree in one of the following fields is required: Economics, Law, Political Science, IT, Communications, or Journalism.
- Policy Monitoring & Analyses Unit (PMA): EU policy analysis, support to Member States. A bachelor's degree is required, one of the following: Economics, Law, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics.
- Resilience of Critical Sectors Unit (RoCS): ICT security, energy, finance, health, transportation, space. Bachelor's degree required, alternatively: Computer Science, Engineering, or Politics.
- Capacity Building Unit (CBU): ENISA Training and Methodologies, ECSF Promotion. A bachelor's degree is required, alternatively in Social Sciences, IT, or Public Policy.
- Operational Cooperation Unit (OCU): Coordination of CSIRTs and cybersecurity crises. Bachelor's degree required, alternatively: IT with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Operational & Situational Awareness Unit (OSA): Threat and incident analysis, operational recommendations. A bachelor's degree is required, one of the following: IT, Engineering, Data Analysis, or Geopolitics.
- Operational Support Unit (OSU): Support to the EU Cybersecurity Reserve, cyber crisis management. Bachelor's degree required, alternatively: IT with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Cybersecurity Certification Unit (CCU): EU certifications, cryptographic guidelines. A bachelor's degree is required, alternatively in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
- Market, Technology & Product Security Unit (MTPS): Market analysis and ICT product security. Bachelor's degree required (alternatively, Computer Science, Engineering, or IT).
To apply, you must be a citizen of a European Union or EFTA member state; have a bachelor's degree or equivalent; and have excellent knowledge of English and at least one other EU language. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of €1.500. The deadline for submitting applications isJanuary 8 2026.
