The competition notice of United World Colleges, UWC, offers the extraordinary opportunity for upper secondary school students to complete their studies in renowned international schools.

The Italian National Commission for the United World Colleges represents the UWC Movement in Italy together with the United World College of the Adriatic ONLUS and the Foundation for the United World Colleges Stock Weinberg – Edward Sutcliffe. The National Commissions select boys and girls based on merit to offer a high-profile educational experience in one of the 155 countries in the world that are part of the UWC network. A path that combines a high-level academic program and personal growth objectives of crucial importance.

To submit your application, the requirements are, in particular, for the 2024/2025 academic year:

  • have Italian citizenship or have been resident in Italy for at least two years;
  • be born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2009;
  • attending the third year of an Italian higher education institution for the first time or attending the second year at foreign or experimental four-year schools in Italy or finally attending the fourth year of an Italian higher education institution for the first time during academic year 2024/2025.

Scholarships are available to cover all or part of the costs. The study plan includes the preparation of six subjects, of which at least three are studied at a higher level and the others at a standard level. The language of instruction in all colleges, with the exception of some language and literature courses, is English. . The deadline to register is 31 October 2024.
