La Mokinya Foundation, with the project Rural Future – Nature, Community, Education, select 6 volunteers I (European Solidarity Corps) long term, aged between 18 and 29, for a project by 6 months in Mrachenik, Bulgaria from 01 March to 30 September 2025.  Mokinya proposes an experience of growth and knowledge related to the exploration of the natural beauties that the place offers, to the small local community and to the territory. The project includes the organization of rural activities and more: from gardening to cleaning the paths to cultural animation to the organization of events. The participants will be engaged in practical activities with a lifestyle based on solidarity, sharing, frugality.

Participation in the project aims to increase team spirit, adaptability and a deeper understanding of rural life. Facilities such as ATMs, shops, pharmacy, cafes or bars are located 25 km away from Mrachenik; accommodation (a typical Bulgarian house with basic facilities), food, materials and travel expenses are fully covered by the project. A follow-up activity will be required at the end of the course.
