The association The World We Are Us  based in Goães (Portugal), is looking for long-term volunteers for a European Solidarity Corps project. The aim of this organization is to promote personal and social growth through cooperation, respect for the environment and sustainability by promoting working with different targets but focusing especially on children by carrying out activities in nature, learning moments through play, study support, artistic expression, dance and yoga.

The activities planned for the volunteers are both practical and educational, all focused on sustainability and vegetarian cuisine.

One of the main initiatives will be the Menu planning and preparation of vegetarian meals to promote a sustainable lifestyle. Volunteers will be involved in cleaning the kitchen and outdoor spaces, including composting activities, distributing meals to children and creating and presenting training sessions on European programs.

Food, accommodation and round-trip travel will be covered by the program.

Volunteers will be provided with specific training in different fields related to the project, will have the opportunity to learn Portuguese and increase their management skills in working with children.

The volunteering period will be from January 3rd to December 19th 2025 in Goães.
